What’s Wrong With You?
After 5 years of hitchhiking twice from Croatia to French Polynesia, I summarized my whole experience in the book “What’s Wrong With You?” My book is a combination of real-life stories and travel tips that explain how to hitchhike numerous boats and a helicopter, how much money is needed for a five-year journey, how to make money while traveling and what’s like to hitchhike such a long distance as a solo woman. There are chapters about sex, love and everything in between – along with the fears, risks and a psychological aspect of it all. The end of the book takes an unexpected and quite incredible turn.
This is my story and I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!
I heard about her story through one of my traveling friends and since that I got in touch with Ana. Her story is like a fairy tale and it shows to people that everything in life is possible. On the beginning it was a thought in her mind but that spark was so flammable until she decided to make her dream come true for real. She needed to gave up from her comfort and basically start a new life from the beginning. It takes a lot of guts to do that and many people would better choose to stay in their comfort zone but not Ana. It is an honest, inspiring, real, adventures story and you will got glued to it until you finish with the book in one breath. It is an epic journey about her dream and her inner transformation as a person. Thank you for sharing your story with the world and I am sure you will encourage many people to try to change their lives. The first step is always the hardest but then everything is possible. Even that I have never met Ana in person I know she is indeed a very kind, simple, generous, friendly and of course brave person that deserves all these things that have happened in her life. All the best in your life journey and good luck.
What's Wrong With... This Book?
This book is amazing. It's funny, it's serious, it will make you wondrous and will open your eyes to all the things that make this world so beautiful, both places and people. And why it is so special is because it's sincere. Nothing writes better stories than real life. Thank you Ana for letting me be your literate travel companion...
For long time I was wondering how difficult is it to travel around the world by hitchhiking (specially for women) and then this book came. I enjoyed every part of it not just because of an interesting story, but also for Ana's sincerety while describing her journey, it's best and worst parts. Hope there will be more books about French Polynesia some day:)
